Job Summary
Radius Church in St. Petersburg, FL is looking for a part time Youth Minister who wants meaningful ministry that fits into the rhythm of their life and other work or calling. This is a clearly defined role with real ownership, supported rhythms, and healthy boundaries. You won’t be doing ministry alone, and you won’t be expected to carry everything. You’ll have administrative support so you can stay focused on what matters most, showing up for students and building real relationships with them and their families. You’ll also be part of a team of pastors who are present, collaborative, and invested in helping you grow and lead well, not just execute tasks.
St. Pete is a creative, laid back city, and Radius feels a lot like that, real people, honest relationships, and a community trying to live its faith in practical ways. In this role, you’ll be present at worship on Sunday mornings and with students on Monday nights, help shape the rhythm of youth gatherings, and work with volunteers who care deeply about showing up for students well. You’ll also help create moments throughout the year, retreats, trips, and events, that give students space to connect, have fun, and take steps in their faith together.
We’re looking for someone who’s real with people, who listens well, carries a steady and hopeful presence, and is adaptable when ministry doesn’t go exactly as planned. Someone who leads in a grounded, relational, and consistent way. This role is about showing up for students, building trust over time, and creating a space where all students can belong, be known, and be supported as they grow. We value creating space where students can show up fully as themselves and experience belonging, love, and acceptance.
There’s real responsibility here, but it lives inside a healthy rhythm, not constant pressure or urgency. Most of all, we’re looking for someone who wants to do meaningful ministry in a way that is sustainable, relational, and honest, and who is willing to invest deeply in the lives of students.
At Radius, you won’t do this alone. You’ll be part of a team that values people first, clarity over chaos, and a kind of ministry that feels sustainable, relational, and real.
